In December 2021, a data breach on the Chinese online learning platform, ZhuanZhi.ai, compromised the personal information of 66,935 individuals.

A hacker group known as Cyber Gang claimed responsibility for the breach and released a sample of the stolen data on a hacking forum. The leaked records included names, email addresses, phone numbers, and user passwords, as well as some payment information.
