WildStar was a massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) developed by Carbine Studios and published by NCSOFT.

In 2015, hackers gained access to WildStars database and leaked a vast amount of player information, including 742,387 records. The leaked data included player emails, passwords, and security questions, as well as login credentials and character information.

The hack was initially reported on May 13, 2015, and it is believed that the hackers were able to gain access to the database through a phishing email sent to WildStar employees. Once inside the database, the hackers were able to download and share the stolen information online.

The leaked data included a wide range of sensitive information, including:

* Email addresses
* Passwords (including those encrypted with MD5 and/or SHA1)
* Security questions and answers
* Login credentials (username, password, and security questions)
* Character information, including character names, levels, and in-game items

The leak was widely reported in the gaming and tech communities, and NCSOFT was forced to take immediate action to secure the database and notify affected players of the breach. The company also offered advice on how to protect against future hacks and encouraged players to change their passwords and security questions.
