Totaljerkface Database

In 2010, the Totaljerkface Database, a collection of user information from the online forum TotalJerkface.com, was leaked online. The database contained 188,056 records, which included sensitive personal information such as real names, emails, usernames, phone numbers, passwords, addresses, genders, dates of birth, and IP addresses.

The leaked information was attributed to a user named Raiden who claimed to have hacked the sites database and posted the stolen records online. The leak exposed the personal details of thousands of users who registered on the forum, which caters to a wide range of topics including gaming, technology, and entertainment.

The leaked records showed a mix of publicly available and sensitive information, including names, emails, and phone numbers. Passwords were also included in the leak, although they were not readily decryptable due to the variation in password hashing algorithms used by the site. The IP addresses associated with user accounts were also exposed, providing potential attackers with information about the users location and online activities.
