In 2022, budget airline TigerAir Taiwan (TW) experienced a massive data breach that exposed the personal information of over 592,691 passengers. The leak occurred due to a misconfigured Amazon Web Services (AWS) S3 bucket, which inadvertently stored sensitive customer data in an unprotected state.
