Stronghold Kingdoms

On October 25th, 2018, a security researcher known as Kromtech discovered a major data leak from Firefly Studios popular online game Stronghold Kingdoms. The leak exposed the personal information of over 5 million players, including their usernames, email addresses, and IP addresses.

The researcher also found that the leaked data included player account information, such as their in-game currency, resources, and troops. This information could be used by attackers to steal player accounts or to gain an unfair advantage in the game.

Firefly Studios responded to the leak by resetting all player passwords and implementing new security measures to prevent future breaches. The company also apologized for the inconvenience caused to its players.
