The leaked data included email addresses, dates of birth, names, phone numbers, ZIP codes, and more. The breach also compromised some customers Social Security numbers. The exposed data reportedly did not include any customer account numbers, balances, or trading history.

The data breach at Robinhood was discovered in November 2021, and the company notified affected customers in December 2021. Robinhood launched an investigation into the incident and stated that it was working with law enforcement to identify the individuals responsible for the breach.
